Union Station M-8 Acceptance Facility

This contract consisted of the creation of a new Metro-North trailer compound along with all associated parking and access road improvements. The main aspect of the project consisted of constructing side-by-side rail tracks with full electrical power capabilities. As part of the project, catenary poles and wiring were installed; as well as installation of a cured-in-place pipe liner within a brick pipe culvert originally constructed in the 1800’s and located under all of the major tracks at the station.
