Frank Pullano
Founder & CEO
Frank founded Banton in 1979 and has steadily advanced the firm to its present position as a leading and trusted provider of superior general contracting services.
Throughout the past 45 years, Frank has successfully led the organization through a range of varying economic periods. His guiding principles remain consistent and emphasize the importance of upper management’s direct oversight of all projects, regardless of their size or value.
Under Frank’s leadership, the firm has proudly constructed a wide array of complex projects and landmark buildings throughout the region. The company maintains strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients spanning multiple market sectors.
James Nenninger
President
James was appointed as Banton’s President in 2022. He is responsible for the development and implementation of company-wide strategies to optimize Banton’s growth and long-term sustainability. Under his leadership, James is bringing innovation and modernization to Banton while preserving the same traditions and values.
A 22-year veteran of the construction industry, James started with Banton as an Assistant Project Manager and worked his way up to President in just 12 years. He is passionate about the professional growth of the construction industry and believes in treating every project participant as an equal partner.
James was recently appointed to the Construction Management Industry Advisory Board at Central Connecticut State University. He also serves on the board of CCIA's Connecticut Road Builders Association.
James graduated from CCSU with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He is an advocate for mentoring young professionals for leadership roles in the industry.
Nicholas M. Pullano
Vice President
Nick started his career at Banton in 2001 as an electrical apprentice and as a result of his demonstrated management capabilities; steadily advanced through the ranks to become the director of the firm’s Electrical Division. In 2023, he was promoted to Vice President.
Under Nick’s direction, Banton has completed a diverse array of electrical projects as a prime subcontractor and also for both public and private clients throughout the state. Banton’s electrical team has continued to thrive and expand in recent years and is available to perform on all types of contract and service work including renovations, new construction and specialty projects.
Nick obtained his Electrical Unlimited Contractor (E-1) License in 2013 and has held his Electrical Unlimited Journeyman (E-2) License since 2007.
Stephen R. Ryan
Project Executive
Steve joined Banton’s forces in 1980 and provides direct oversight of all active projects. Steve has been intimately involved with virtually all of Banton’s endeavors throughout the past four decades and has consistently ensured the delivery of high quality construction and overall client satisfaction.
Steve formerly served as Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board for Construction Management at Central Connecticut State University. He had been a member of the Board since its inception in 1998, and retired in 2021 after 22 years of service.
Steve received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Haven and is a graduate of Associated General Contractors of America’s Supervisory Training Program.
Dylan F. Peltier
Project Executive
Dylan started his career at Banton in 1997. As a young apprentice, he earned his license and steadily advanced to become an electrical foremen while gaining respect and loyalty from his peers.
Dylan was influential on many of Banton's electrical projects for over 15 years. In 2011 he took his first role as a general superintendent on a dormitory project and transitioned seamlessly into project management.
During his time as project manager, Dylan completed several large transit-related projects for various public and private clients. He recently completed Banton’s largest project to date at just over $80 million dollars. Dylan lives the company values, and his resolute leadership serves to guide Banton's project teams and the overall success of the firm.
Paul Brandt
Director of Operations
Paul is responsible for overseeing Banton’s day-to-day operations. He focuses on proactively addressing productivity, safety and risk management across the organization.
Paul previously served as Vice President of Operations and Sales for three independent construction material manufacturing facilities. Prior to that, he played a critical role as British Airways’ Manager of Properties and Facilities at JFK and Newark International Airports. Paul is a graduate of St. John’s University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
