Paratransit Maintenance & Operations Facility

This new complex enables the District to more efficiently maintain and operate its paratransit fleet. The administrative space provides an integrated scheduling center for the 157 buses serving the district's 16 member towns, while the maintenance area includes an array of specialized equipment including multiple bus lifts, a fuel and fluid management station, a bus-wash bay with an oil-water separator component and an emergency exhaust system. The facility also features energy efficient metal wall and roof paneling as well as porous pavement and subsurface storm water storage systems.
