Replacement & Rehabilitation of Five Bridges

This multi-year endeavor involved the replacement of four railroad bridges and the removal and infill of a fifth bridge along the New Haven to Grand Central Line. The reconstruction process was performed in carefully orchestrated sections in order to maintain the railroad’s daily operations. The scope also included road construction, utility improvements and foundation repairs to all of the existing catenary structures. Sewer and water relocations were also performed as a component of the project.
