New Canaan Train Station

At the project’s onset, the existing station was jacked up and temporarily moved away from the tracks. Because the building is a historical landmark, the station and canopies were disassembled and then reassembled under strict guidelines. The structure was then reset and fully renovated. All work was performed while the station remained fully operational. This was accomplished by constructing a temporary facility to accommodate daily commuter activity.
