Little Theatre

Banton completed the full restoration and addition to this landmark building, which was originally constructed in 1926 and acquired by ACES in 1986. Challenges included a tight site, the presence of neighbors in a residential district, strict historical building guidelines and crumbling foundations that had to be rectified. The size of the building has grown from 6,000 to 9,000 square feet, and 30 additional seats added to the main auditorium. The completed facility now provides state-of-the-art technology for the state’s oldest interdistrict magnet high school dedicated to the arts.
