HMTX Industries World Headquarters

Banton completed the Electrical Trade Package for HMTX's World Headquarters. The new facility is the first 'Living Building Challenge' Petal Certified project, and the greenest building in the state of Connecticut to date. The building is "energy positive" – over 100% of the building’s power demand is supplied by on-site photovoltaic panels and burns zero fossil fuels, therefore producing zero carbon emissions.

Banton was responsible for providing a design-build for the lighting control system; which included specialty LED accent lighting with dimming, daylight harvesting and occupancy controls.
