DEEP West District Headquarters

Banton recently teamed up with PurePoint Energy to install a 186-panel photovoltaic system on the rooftop of the newly constructed West District Headquarters in Black Rock State Park.

Banton's scope of work also incorporated a diverse array of sustainable design elements to promote energy efficiency throughout the facility. Additionally, our forces installed a state-of-the-art fire alarm system, a specialized lighting control system and an array of electric vehicle charging stations.

The building will house staff within several divisions of the State’s Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. The new facility is the first-ever net zero energy Executive Branch building in the State.
