Swift Factory Tenant Fit-Out

Banton completed an adaptive reuse conversion of a 48,000 square foot gold leafing manufacturing facility. The Swift Factory building was gutted and fit out with food production spaces, an education center, shared office spaces and a healthcare clinic. Caution and attention to detail were utilized in order to preserve the historic aspects of the building. Existing masonry walls were restored and integrated with new finishes including wood floors, beadboard ceilings, plaster walls and repainted original metal window frames. The reimagined building preserves a cherished piece of neighborhood history, while opening doors for economic and community collaboration.
