HMTX Industries World Headquarters

Banton completed a $2.4 Million dollar Electrical Trade Package for the HMTX Industries World Headquarters, located in Norwalk, CT.  The new facility is the first Living Building Challenge Petal Certified projects, and the greenest building in the state of CT to date.  The building is energy positive – over 100% of the building’s power demand is supplied by on-site photovoltaic panels, burning zero fossil fuels, therefore producing zero carbon emissions.

Banton was responsible for providing a design-build for the lighting control system, which included specialty LED accent lighting with dimming, daylight harvesting, and occupancy controls.
